Sweet Ginger Chicken

Warming ginger and a touch of organic brown sugar combine to make this Vietnamese favorite that bursts with flavor. And using Sweet Ginger Saucey Sauce makes it quick & easy!

Serves 4

8 chicken drumsticks

1 1/2 cup shallots or yellow onion, chopped

1 cup Sweet Ginger Saucey Sauce

Extra Virgin Olive oil

Method

  1. Coat the bottom of large skillet with a thin layer of olive oil
  2. On medium heat, saute shallots or onions until golden brown
  3. Add drumsticks and brown both sides
  4. Add Sweet Ginger Saucey Sauce and simmer on low heat for 25 mins or until fully cooked

Serve with your favorite veggie side and grains like couscous or quinoa. And don’t be shy – spoon those delicious pan juices over your meal!
