Inspired by Andrew Zimmern (andrewzimmern.com), here’s our favorite Vietnamese pork burger recipe – it’s super quick, easy & ridiculously flavorful by using Spicy Garlic and Sweet Ginger Saucey Sauces. It’s the perfect burger recipe for flavor junkies looking to switch things up.
Serves 4
Pork Burger
- 1 ½ lb ground pork
- 2 T Sweet Ginger Saucey Sauce
- 2 T Spicy Garlic Saucey Sauce
- 3 T cilantro, minced
- 1 kaffir lime leaf, julienned
- ¼ C breadcrumbs
- 4 soft buns
- Leaf Lettuce
- 4 sprigs each of cilantro and mint for garnish
Pickled Carrots & Daikon
- 1 C carrot, shaved in long strips
- 1 C daikon radish, grated
- 1/2 C Sweet Ginger Saucey Sauce
Method
- In medium bowl, combine carrot, daikon radish and Sweet Ginger Saucey Sauce.
- Stir, cover and put in fridge until ready to use.
- In a mixing bowl, combine pork, Sweet Ginger and Spicy Garlic Saucey Sauces, cilantro and kaffir lime. Form into 4 patties.
- Butter the buns and toast lightly on the grill, or in a saute pan.
- Grill the burgers for 3 to 4 minutes per side.

- Garnish with sprigs of cilantro and mint.
