Ginger Glazed Chops

These no fuss pork chops need only one seasoning to make them juicy and delicious- our Ginger Glaze!

Serves: 4

Ingredients

  • 4 pork chops, 1 1/2″ – 2″ thick (boneless or bone-in)
  • 1/2 cup Ginger Glaze + 4 tablespoons for finishing
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Method

  1. Marinate pork chops in 1/4 cup of Ginger Glaze for 15-20 minutes
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in heavy skillet
  3. Remove chops from marinade and pat dry, discard marinade
  4. Once oil is hot add chops to pan and brown for 5 minutes each side
  5. In last 2 minutes of cooking brush chops with 1 tablespoon of Ginger Glaze
  6. Chops are done when center reaches 145 degrees F. *bone-in chops may take a few minutes longer to cook

    My roommate and I met you guys at the Hester St Market a few weeks ago. Your sauces are so yummy and you pulled us in with the suggestion of doing a pork belly marinated in the Spicy Garlic and coated in the Brown Sugar/ginger glaze. I was thinking of cooking it up this weekend and went to your website to get the recipe, but couldn’t find it. I have never cooked pork belly with a bottled glaze, so am unsure of when to add that magic mix! Hints would be greatly appreciated!
